Advanced Pressure Management & Control (APMC™) is an approach to further save on non-revenue water (NRW) via unnecessary high pressure in the water network. This is an advanced initiative done after basic implementation of Active Leakage Control in a typical NRW program. APMC™ does this by reducing burst frequencies and leaks through regulating a more consistent pressure in each District Meter Area (DMA) or District Meter Zone (DMZ). Each network, district or DMZ is unique; hence, requiring a detailed study from PWS team before the application of APMC™

APMC™ is done via a set of hardware tools to monitor and regulate the pressure. The data obtained from the loggers communicates with the regulator at the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) to modulate the pressure based on the demand. The related software will allow the user to identify and set each parameter and trends based on the specific needs in the DMZ. PWS are well equipped with the necessary hardware, software and skills to manage APMC™ with the support and technology transferred to the company from consultants who has significant track record and experiences in the NRW industry locally and internationally.
