Advanced Pressure Management & Control (APMC™)
Advanced Pressure Management & Control (APMC™) is an advanced initiative implemented after basic pressure management is made for the District Meter Area (DMA). APMC™ automatically optimizes water pressure in the water distribution network, enabling constant supply of sufficient water pressure while ensuring that unnecessary excess pressure is removed. Concurrently, burst and leaks frequencies are also reduced, improving NRW physical losses. Each network DMA is unique, hence requiring detailed study by PWS experts before the application of APMC™.
Advanced Smart Metering
Smart metering is a technology use to digitalize measured data and obtain that data from a distance. Advantages include solving meter reading issues by eliminating reading errors, dramatically improving collection speeds and providing alarms and notifications. Paired with high metrology long-lasting meters, PWS smart metering technology provides the optimum solution in remotely maximizing reading accuracy up to drips, while keeping operating cost at a minimum.
Automated Data Acquisition
Remote data acquisition is the practice of collecting information from a distance at a required timeline. Signals that can be acquired range from digital to analogue signals; whereas parameters that can be collected are limitless depending on the sensors. These parameters include but is not limited to flow, volume, pressure, level/depth, and water quality. Remote data collection ensures that the required data can be acquired, monitored and analysed whenever and wherever.
